Conscious Parenting: The Beginning

Stacey Pinilis is a psychotherapist with a coaching style. She has a great deal of knowledge and experience as a clinician and as a parent of three children.
With over 20 years of clinical practice, Stacey offers a unique therapy experience to someone seeking support. Whether you need help managing the stressors of pandemic life in general or you are struggling with one of your children, Stacey will partner with you to create a plan which will help you identify your goals and reach them.
Stacey is direct, creative and thoughtful and understands how hard it is to reach out for help when you are struggling.
After graduating with a MSW from New York University, Stacey worked in mental health agencies with adults diagnosed with a chronic mental illness. Her strong desire to help these clients and her natural ability to lead enabled her to move into a director role in a psychiatric rehabilitation program. Under her leadership the clients and staff felt supported and respected and the program grew.
For the past decade Stacey has been working in private practice with adults who are struggling with their parenting. She has a sub-specialty in helping parents of children with food allergies because she has a child who was diagnosed with a food allergy fourteen years ago. She knows first hand how important it was for her initially to learn to manage her own feelings so she could be present for her son.
Stacey brings a solid meditation and mindfulness practice to her work. She is passionate about helping people get unstuck using a variety of techniques including Reiki, visualization, EFT tapping, neuroscience and supportive, psychodynamic psychotherapy. Through nonjudgmental, supportive conversations clients are able to free up the space in their busy minds to move toward creating the lives they desire.
I am currently providing teletherapy services. Please contact me for a free consultation.
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
